Youth Ministry
We understand the pressures and pit-falls faced by teens in our culture. We have developed a program to assist our teens and their parents in preparing our young people for service, and helping to protect them from falling prey to the wiles of the devil, or the allurements of the world.
-
We have a Sunday School class for teens in which our teens are taught through specific books of the Bible or Biblical topics where our intent is to promote their spiritual growth. A major part of the teen class is our F.O.C.U.S. program (Faithfully Obeying Christ Unto Sanctification). It is a program which encourages our teens in developing good habits in the area of Bible reading/study, church attendance, verse memorization, service in the church and service to others.
-
Our teens meet every Sunday for a teen fellowship, after the Sunday School, in our church second floor class rooms. The teachers perform activity and sometime choir rehearsal and the teens enjoy a time of singing and sharing testimonies before going to the main hall to listen to the word of God.
Our teens also meet once a month for a teen activity. The activity is usually on a Saturday and can include things like bowling, outdoor bible study with smores and hot cocoa, and so many more activities to come. The youth committee provides the meal for the activity and our teen leaders plans the activity. Below you can see our events and see what we are all about.
